HEMS Inc. is a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of stakeholders in the Southeastern Michigan Emergency Medical Service community.

Working together, hospitals, local and county government, EMS services, education and industry have created a world-class emergency care system for the citizens of western and downriver Wayne County.

HEMS is also Fiduciary of the Region 2 South Health Care Coalition, Region 2 North Health Care Coalition, and Region 8 Healthcare Coalition helping to assure the safety of our citizens.
